A few entrants confused"Stylish"Offering"Hipster, that's an honest mistake.But i taking part those below as well, because after a few years, the funny and touching stories about everyone's fathers became essential to me than the hipster/not hipster distinction.

These were taken about three years apart in the early 70s and i always appreciated how my parents basically switched hairstyles.

My father and i haven't been the tightest(Old hinarrative)But we are more alike than i'd perhaps like to trust(Older level).Having fully understand that, i'll thank him for a wry and irreverent spontaneity, easy giggle, robust skepticism, and hazel eyeballs.I only really wish i could pull off a tight leisure jacket, wispy mustache, and aviators just similar to he did.

Present when 1976, our pop, glenn roberts sr, won a gold cadillac seville simply by entering a puzzle contest in the oakland tribune.Our house was featured in this newspaper photo, taken at pat patterson bentley in oakland, including a newspaper article about my dad's big win.Truly, that newspaper clipping went everywhere with us for few weeks to show everyone we were famous.Even though this photo went on to embarrass us for much of our young adult lives, it now hangs in our homes happily.We the hippest dad of the 70's, and he is still equipped with this suit.The car was handed down to us to drive to acalanes graduating(Lafayette)The late 1980's.We've got some classic photos of that era as well.Perhaps for another contest.Equally comfortable getting together with cast of laugh in or a few black panthers, my dad rocked the seventies with his wonderful style that would make andre 3000 jealous.He is your only man i know who uses the phrase,"Of cat"And sounds cool saying it.Whether or not he spent my childhood traveling and working late covering major news stories of the seventies and eighties, he always made me feel like i was front page news at the top even.

My dad was pretty cool.He was a jazz guitarist trombone player in the bay area in the after moving out to sf from detroit in the late '50s.The singers union in the 1960s was bunch of slick cats.We have a bunch of pictures of him during this time period.At this point is one.I also did a touch of page on my website for him and as we collect and sort his music.My family has been amazed to get emails from the various people he worked with through the years in his career as a musician.I revel in your contests.We are not parents(So far)And we had arrived great kids(We believe), So we have no photos of us or our offspring shouting at Santa or the Easter Bunny.But i give a dad, anf the husband was one heck of hipster.There's no doubt he thinks he's still hip.That's dubious.Attached is my photo submitter to the my father the hipster contest.This is the story:

This is really my dad, craig kahn, circa 1970 1972 during his college daze at the ohio state school.She has now 61.With all this photo, it shouldn't shock you he ended up in marin.Shaggy excess head, groomed mustache, solid chin drape.Those are his artwork on the wall.Above him is a self portrait resembling modigliani's style.A hipster conserving his hipster self how meta.Notice linus and lucy just going out on his papers.Thick rimmed glasses sitting on your bed, azure(Purple velvet? )Hat draped over his legs, satchel in the company of trusty books at his side.

Every summer he drove straight through from santa cruz to portland with four kids in a back corner seat, always talked to us about how proud he was of our achievements, and was there to throw a ball or drive us down to the beach to swim and catch a wave on our old airbeds.
